READY TO HAVE SOME FUN?

When the first lockdown started a year ago a bunch of local independent, owner-operated restaurant, pub, bar, hotel and hospitality venue owners decided we needed to club together to support each other through a pretty stressful time.

We shared knowledge and advice with each other, gave each other a shoulder to lean on when it was tough, tried to work out what all the new rules and regs meant and generally supported each other through to the other side of the pandemic.

That collective of 34 venues is now TURF Cheltenham and after a year of closures and limited openings we’ll be bouncing back with an auction of unique hospitality experiences over the next few weeks to celebrate the end of what will (hopefully!) be the last lockdown for a long while.There are over 60 lots on offer at and the first lot from Purslane is a seafood platter with sides and a bottle of Camel Valley sparkling wine. There’s so much to choose from and more lots will be released over the coming weeks.

Whilst the focus of the auction is to support TURF independent hospitality venues and to remind all those keen to come out again that there are some amazing independent venues in town that are ready to welcome them back, we were also keen to give something back to the community and support a local charity. National Star has worked incredibly hard over the past year keeping students and residents safe and well so we’re therefore donating 5p in every £1 bid in the auction to them.
